An early greeting and good wishes for Independence Day this July 4 in the USA.

Every decade, perhaps every year and if you dig deep every month or week, someone writes an article about the importance of independence and liberty for individuals.

A brief note this may be, but I add to this solid base of reminders, encouragement and pleas.

In every endeavour – business, athletics, trying to learn and new skill, improving oneself, the ability to determine your own goals, and to pursue them is, valued if not cherished.
It should be cherished, re-affirmed and encouraged,daily, and throughout the year.

Only in a country which encourages individuality and creativity, responsible and ethical behaviour, individual intelligence and freedom, where the premise is that government or any other large-looking entity or organisation must take second place to the health, wealth and rights of the individual, can a vision that is greater than anything that may be understood on today’s fragment in the lines of time, be come a reality. Progress is good.

After all we truly understand, cherish and value the principles the USA stands for at its best and greedily feast upon every crumb of America’s influence and encourage the sanest of its influences.
